Lauren Chan was photographed by James Macari in the Dominican Republic for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue along with fellow models Katie Austin, Camille Kostek, Hailey Clauson, Brooks Nader and Madisin Rian.
Chan is a true triple threat, having worked in the fashion industry as a writer, editor and model. While working as the fashion features editor at Glamour, the Toronto native focused on a plus-size fashion beat and designed a clothing collection with Lane Bryant. She is also the founder and CEO of Henning, a luxury womenswear brand that was recently acquired by Universal Standard. Chan now works as the company’s head of brand partnerships. This is her first appearance in the SI Swimsuit Issue.
